Welcome year 12 to Media!


Over the past couple of lessons I have been introducing you to the foundation of analysing media texts. 

 In lessons we have looked at: 


         Cinematography is a term used to describe all aspects of camerawork: shot types, camera positioning, camera movement and framing. The cinematography within a film can convey meaning.

Apply what you have learned! Watch Martin Scorsese's first film called the Big Shave. Make notes on:
oCinematography- what shots were used? Why is the film uncomfortable to watch?

oCharacter and setting
o Narrative and use of blood
